Any number of magazines, research articles, and other publications will stress the importance of core strength for runners and walkers alike. A strong core maintains proper posture through fatigue and makes each stride more powerful and more meaningful. Sometime, the hard part is finding the time to perform adequate core work during a busy day. We created a video to demonstrate a quick 5-minute routine that will engage those ever-important core muscles.
This routine, unfortunately, will not suffice to give you shredded abs. But that's not necessarily the idea. Anyone can give their core muscles a little extra work during the day, and that little extra work can translate into a healthier you!
