Saucony Hurricane 16 Review

As we flip the calendar to February, so do we flip the page on some of our most popular shoes. Enter: The Saucony Hurricane 16.

The Hurricane has long been a staple of Saucony's stability line-up, and the update continues it's tradition as a premium-cushioned and supportive shoe. Fans of the Hurricane 15 will find many of their favorite features back again in the 16th generation. The shoe is still remarkable lightweight, given the amount of cushion provided by the midsole. The POWERGRID unit is full-length, providing superior shock absorption, response, and smoothness. As a result, you'll feel very comfortable, but with confidence that the shoe provides a stable platform for your stride. The Hurricane's medial post of denser foam makes this shoe an excellent choice for the overpronator looking for a shoe with a lot of character but not a lot of bulk.  Weight: only 11.2 oz in the men's version and 9.5 in the women's. That's light, considering the cushion.
